Fund-flow tracing

Fund-flow tracing is the practice of following cryptocurrency value across multiple transactions and addresses (hops) to determine where funds originated or where they are heading.

When a transfer is flagged, investigators need to know the source or destination of the value. Fund-flow tracing walks the transaction graph hop by hop, attributing value to entities and surfacing exposure to mixers, exchanges or sanctioned addresses. Delivered as a metered API primitive, tracing becomes an automated triage step rather than a manual investigation.
