Settle a payment to fiat terms
You think in fiat; buyers pay in crypto. Because the invoice fixes amount_usd, the settled webhook confirms the fiat figure you priced, and you decide when to move funds out with a payout.

Set amount_usd when you create the invoice. The integrated price layer quotes the crypto equivalent, so checkout and your books both speak fiat without a separate market-data vendor.

Do I need a separate market-data feed to price checkout?
No. The invoice values the USD amount through the integrated price layer, so pricing and settlement use built-in prices with no external vendor.
When does value leave my balance?
Only when you trigger a payout. Settlement credits your balance; a payout moves it on chain on your schedule, so you control treasury timing.
