Full node

A full node is a blockchain client that downloads and verifies every block and transaction against consensus rules, maintaining current state so it can serve and validate queries without trusting a third party.

A full node enforces the protocol itself: it checks signatures, balances and block validity rather than trusting peers. It keeps enough state to answer queries about the current chain, but a plain full node often prunes old state to save disk, so historical balances at past blocks may be unavailable. That gap is why archive nodes exist. We run our own full and archive nodes for BTC, ETH and TRON, so requests hit infrastructure we operate rather than a resold upstream.
