From gas to total cost
Fee equals gas_units times gas_price(gwei) times 10^-9 ETH. Enter the gas your transaction uses, 21,000 for a plain ETH transfer or more for a contract call, and the gas price in gwei to get the ETH cost. This is the same math wallets use to show a fee estimate before you confirm.
Adding a dollar estimate
To see the fee in USD, type an ETH/USD price. The tool multiplies the ETH fee by that price locally. It performs no network call and reads no live feed, so you control the price assumption entirely.

What gas value should I use for a token transfer?
ERC-20 transfers typically use tens of thousands of gas, more than the 21,000 of a plain ETH transfer. Use the actual gas your contract call consumes for an accurate estimate.
Does it fetch a live ETH price?
No. You enter the ETH/USD price manually and the tool does no network call, keeping the calculation fully in your browser.
