Stablecoin

A stablecoin is a cryptocurrency engineered to maintain a stable price by pegging its value to a reference asset, most commonly a fiat currency.

Stablecoins bridge crypto and fiat: because their value tracks a currency like the US dollar, they are the default rail for crypto payments, payouts and settlement where price volatility is unacceptable. Most are ERC-20 or TRON tokens backed by reserves, such as USDT and USDC. Our payments and payout primitives handle stablecoin invoices and disbursements, and our market-prices and net-worth reads value stablecoin balances alongside volatile assets so a portfolio reflects them correctly.
