Smart money

Smart money is a label for blockchain wallets with a demonstrated track record of profitable, early or informed on-chain activity, whose behaviour is treated as a signal.

Analytics products identify smart-money wallets by performance and timing, then track their netflow and holdings as a leading indicator. Builders consume smart-money signals to power trading terminals, alerts and screeners. The signal is only as good as the underlying clustering and labelling that decide which wallets qualify.
